Sweet Basil (Ocimum Basilicum)

This herb is steam distilled and grown in Bulgaria. It is an uplifting oil especially good for clearing the head and chest. It has been used for respiratory complaints as well as digestive disturbances. Basil should be avoided in pregnancy. Due to its cooling effects, Basil is excellent in massage or bath oils made for sore muscles.
